A Totality of Appreciation and Devotion to Both Parents

            Blessed are parents with children as a memorizer of Al-Qur’an. Because Rasulullah Saw. provides assurance on Mu’adz bin Anas’s word. :

اَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْأَنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيْهِ اَلْبَسَ اللَّهُ وّالِدَيْهِ تَجًا يَوْمَ الّقِيَامَةِ ضَوْءُهُ اَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ فِيْ بُيُوْتِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِالَّذِيْ عَمِلَ بِهَذَا

From Mu’adz bin Anas ra, that Rasulullah saw. said, “Whoever reading Al-Qur’an and practicing it, then to his parents in the day of judgement Allah will put on a crown.  The light of a crown is better than the light of the sun in the earth. Then you have no idea that desert lead by that kind of charity. (HR. Abu Daud)

In a slightly different aspect it is said that, ”If his parents died in obedience (to Allah), then placed on the heads of the two parents was the royal crown. And then both of them said, : O our God, our charity may not bring us to this degree, Allah answered : of course, indeed your children always read my book" (Sunan Ad-Darimi, No.3173).

If the parents who educate them get extraordinary rewards, then reward whether what will be conferred on those who practice the Qur’an itself?” of the reward promised by Allah to the memorizes of the Qur’an will be even more extraordinary and will not imagined by human senses.

The reciters of the Qur’an stand tall and march before God on the Day of judgement. Their degrees are elevated in balance with the beauty of the voice, the tone of the song that is special, the ability to analyze meaning. They were invited to go to the heaven with those who supported him when in the world.

Not everyone is blessed with God to be able to memorize the Qur’an easily and mutqin. This makes the Kyai who memorize Qur’an create methods to memorize the Qur’an like the method with finger pioneered by KH. Lukman Hakim on this link.
